Start an enquiry
Start with the features that matter
A milled part is more than a collection of dimensions. Datum faces, pockets, bores and mounting features have to work together in the finished assembly. Begin with a drawing review to distinguish functional requirements from dimensions that can remain at a general tolerance.
A practical route to manufacture
Tool access, internal corner radii, wall thickness and workholding all influence the machining route. Discuss these early, particularly when a prototype is expected to become a repeat order. The agreed plan should cover material condition, machining sequence and any finishing operations.
Inspection agreed before cutting
Identify the features that need recorded inspection and the reference datums used to measure them. Confirm surface finish, deburring, marking and packaging requirements alongside the drawing so that the delivered part is ready for its next operation.
